IBM-based content management
IBM Content Manager OnDemand (CMoD) is a software solution that enables organizations to store, manage and access their business documents and information. The software facilitates document management and information storage, helping to make data easier to access and share across the organization.
An important feature of the product is its ability to handle large volumes of data. Organizations can store their documents, images and other content in a central repository, making it accessible to employees across the organization. This improves collaboration and increases efficiency as users no longer have to search for content across different systems and platforms.
The authorization system helps protect sensitive data and information from unauthorized access. They play a role in the secure storage of data:
IBM Content Manager OnDemand (CMoD) is scalable and can be customized to meet the needs of small businesses and large enterprises. It also integrates easily with other enterprise systems, such as customer relationship management (CRM) software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
In cooperation with Barré Technologies Zrt., a leading bank in Slovenia migrated content stored in IBM Content Manager OnDemand and IBM Content Manager systems installed on an existing IBM mainframe to IBM Content Manager OnDemand installed in a UNIX environment. The Mainframe CM – UNIX CMoD migration was implemented using a proprietary migration application. Before the migration, the Content Manager data model was extracted and converted to CMoD format and loaded into the UNIX CMoD system.
